Sopel is a concrete pendant lamp with a slender, tapered shade that directs light downwards. Its compact form works above a worktop, side table or in a narrow space. Several pendants can also be grouped on a shared canopy to create a larger lighting arrangement.

Materials and construction

• Shade hand-cast from architectural concrete, with colour added to the mix
• Concrete colours available from our palette
• Flat concrete ceiling canopy for the single pendant
• Black cotton braided cable, supplied in a standard length of 120 cm
• Handmade in our Wrocław workshop

Each concrete casting has its own surface texture, with subtle variations in colour and small irregularities that are natural to the material.

Light source

The lamp has a GU10 lamp holder and comes with a 5 W LED bulb:

• Colour temperature: 3000 K
• Colour rendering: CRI ≥ 95
• Luminous flux: approximately 500 lm

The standard bulb is non-dimmable. A dimmable GU10 TRIAC bulb is available as an option: 5.5 W, 3000 K, approximately 550 lm. This version requires a compatible dimmer.

Maximum bulb wattage: 15 W.

Sopel is available in one size:

These dimensions exclude the suspension cable and ceiling canopy.

The lamp can be ordered as a single pendant or with several shades suspended from a shared canopy. Concrete and metal canopies are available for these arrangements, depending on the configuration.

Designed for indoor use. IP20 protection rating. Supply voltage: 220–240 V.
